Satan goaded God with these words believing that he had found the ultimate human weakness: “A man will give everything he has for his life” (See Job 2:4-5).
사탄은 그가 인간의 약점을 찾았다며 다음의 말씀으로 하나님께 도전하려고 합니다. (욥기 2장 4-5)

This accusation certainly exposes a deep fear in the human personality. Our frail humanity makes us vulnerable to the fear of death together with the ageing process and failing health that often come with it.
The strength of the Christian gospel is that it speaks right into the depth of these human needs and offers us eternal life, freedom from sickness and deliverance from death itself through the resurrection power of Christ.
“If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you” (Romans 8:11).
Jesus came proclaiming the good news of the kingdom – that the long-promised age of freedom and deliverance from the powers of sin and death had arrived.
This means we are in “the presence of the future’ and are heirs of unimaginable levels of healing, prosperity and well-being. The kingdom has come!
이 고발은 인간의 내부에 깊숙히 위치한 두려움에 대한 것을 말해 주고 있습니다. 우리의 연약한 인간성은 노화의 과정에서 발생하는 건강의 위협, 죽음에 대한 두려움에 대하여 약합니다.
크리스천 복음의 권능은 이러한 인간의 두려움을 없애주며, 영생을 제공하며, 질병들로부터의 자유와 예수 그리스도의 부활의 권능을 통하여 사망에서의 해방됨입니다.

예수님은 천국의 좋은 소식을 전하시기 위하여 오셨습니다. 자유의 시대와 죄와 사망의 권세로부터 해방되는 시대가 도래했다는 것이 좋은 소식입니다.
이 말은 우리는 '미래의 현존'(-우리는 이미 현실 속에 존재하는 미래에 살고 있다) 속에 거하고 있다는 것이며, 상상할 수 없는 수준의 치유, 번영과 (미래에 누릴) 웰빙 속에 거할 수 있다는 말입니다. 주님의 왕국은 이미 도래했습니다!
However, this doesn’t mean we are free from suffering and trials. On the contrary, Jesus made it clear that the troubles of this world would continue as long as this present world was in existence.
“In this world you will have trouble” (John 16:33).
Nevertheless, we can live in victory over all these circumstances and enjoy the blessing of God.
“But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
God’s will is for health and prosperity for His people – even if we, like Job, must pass through various trials to serve a higher purpose for the glory of God.
“Skin for skin?” Was Satan right? Will we sell our souls for the sake of our present comforts?
그러나, 그 말이 우리가 고난과 시험으로부터 자유로워졌다는 것을 의미하는 것은 아닙니다. 역설적으로 예수님은 이 세상의 문제들은 이 세상이 존재하는 한 계속 될 것이라고 말씀 하셨습니다.
| (요 16:33) | 이것을 너희에게 이르는 것은 너희로 내 안에서 평안을 누리게 하려 함이라 세상에서는 너희가 환난을 당하나 담대하라 내가 세상을 이기었노라 |
그럼에도 불구하고, 우리는 이 모든 상황들에 맞서서 승리하는 삶을 살 수 있으며, 하나님의 축복을 즐길 수 있습니다.

하나님의 뜻은 그의 사람들이 건강함과 번영 속에 사는 것입니다 - 심지어 '욥'처럼 우리가 하나님의 영광을 위한 더 높은 목적을 위한 여러가지 시험을 거쳐야 할 지라도.
"가죽으로 가죽을?" 사탄은 옳았을까요? 우리는 현재의 안락함을 위하여 우리의 영혼을 팔 것입니까?
No! We have settled it once and for all. We will serve God with all of our hearts – no matter what our circumstances.
And nothing will shake our confidence in our Heavenly Father’s capacity and willingness to save, heal and deliver us from every sin, every sickness and every bondage.
절대 안 됩니다! 우리는 예수님께 영원히 정착하였습니다. 우리는 그 어떠한 상황이 펼쳐질 지라도 온 마음과 정성 다해 하나님을 섬길 것입니다.
그리고 그 어떠한 것도 우리 천국의 아버지의 권능과, 우리를 구원, 치유하심, 모든 죄악, 질병 그리고 굴레에서 해방, 치유하시고자 하시는 열망 안에 거하고 있는 우리의 자신감을 흔들 수 없을 것입니다.
